"French" Pear Tart

Just thought it would be funny to call it that in light of my last post title. Anyway it is supposed to be French. And it does actually have apricot jam that was produced in France in it. I made it recently for a Reformation Day lunch at my church where we were supposed to bring food only from countries where the Reformation took place. And since it is a tart, made with frangipane and pears and french apricot jam I really think it does count as French, right?

So I tried it and it was yummy. I'd recommend it. It's an Everday Food recipe (though I used my own crust recipe), and you can get it here. The one I made is of course pictured above.
